چکیده
Satellite-based interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is an invaluable technique in the detection and monitoring of changes on surface earth. Its high spatial coverage, weather friendly remote nature are among advantages tool. The multi-temporal differential InSAR (DInSAR) methods particular estimate spatio-temporal evolution deformation by incorporating information from multiple SAR images. Moreover, opportunities DInSAR techniques accompanied challenges that affect final outputs. Resolving inherent ambiguities phases, especially areas with a gradient, represents main challenge. This brings necessity quality indices as important data processing tools achieving ultimate outcomes. Often such not provided products. Geodesists are, for the most part, a patient and hardworking lot. A day spent hiking to a distant peak, hours spent waiting for clouds to clear a lineof-sight between observation points, weeks spent moving methodically along a level line – such is the normal pulse of the geodetic profession. The fruits of such labors are all the more precious because they are so scarce. A good day spent with an...
متن کاملCoherent interferometric imaging for synthetic aperture radar
This paper shows that the coherent interferometric imaging strategy originally proposed in the context of passive or active arrays of antennas can be implemented for synthetic aperture radar, in which a single antenna is used as an emitter and as a receiver at successive positions along a trajectory. The idea is to backpropagate the cross correlations of the recorded signals over selected frequ...
متن کاملA Synthetic Aperture Radar Simulator for Repeat Pass Interferometric Data
Correlation between Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) pairs is essential for accurate interferometric phase estimation and digital elevation model (DEM) reconstruction. In this paper, a SAR simulator capable of generating Rayleigh and K-distributed terrain clutter and estimating correlation between InSAR passes will be presented. Furthermore, this simulator will be used to study ...
متن کاملAn Interferometric Technique for Synthetic Aperture Ground-Penetrating Radar
-Many synthetic aperture radar (SAR) algorithms for ground-penetrating radar involve making measurements along a single path and using the collected data to form a twodimensional image of the scattering object. In the calculation of these images, certain assumptions are made about the scattering objects; mainly, that the reflections are occurring directly below the antenna location, which is no...
